We got home about several hours ago from the Lake and must say that it was very peaceful!!

Here we are at the gas station and then Brandon pulling away for our second big camping trip.

Now here is Brandon driving us down the road.

When we got to the Lake and begin to set up our tent we saw the beautiful background for our camp site.

It was perfect and it made the trip that much more fun.

Isn't the view awesome, what a trip!

We had begun to settle in and I changed Caitlin as it was getting cooler.

Destiny &Tayler also got settled in and invited her into the trailor to color pictures.

The night soon ended as Caitlin passed out in her aunt Marnie's arms

DAY TWO:

Caitlin her dad and uncle Shannon and cousins all went down to the Lake to try their hands at fishing!

No Such Luck, but that was okay with Caitlin.

So then we went down to the Lake for a swim or two.

Okay, not really swiming more like sand castle building instead...

Then I just so happen to get Brandon in this snap shot. (OOPS!!)

And last but not least my little family.

We had a BLAST and would have stayed another night if we could have, but we came home today just in time for Father's Day and another cute moment with our darling little girl.

We were putting things away and Brandon had to get back into his hunting closet and here she is trying on one of the hats, what a sweet heart..

We have reached a milestone

Caitln is now over two years old and was sleeping in her crib still, I know I have heard crap from everyone that she is too old, but I just didn't feel that she was ready. Finally we took down the crib saturday so she had no choice. She was actually so very good. She got right in her little Dora bed and fell fast asleep.

Needless to say by this pic she was excited to be taking her next major step towards independence.

Now the only next huge milestone that we have is the potty training, so if you have any advice or something you heard works well please let me know as this is a first for me. 

The Sweetest Thing

So as some of you may know Caitlin has this Kitty that she totes around with her everywere and even sleeps with. Well one day we were getting ready for dinner she comes up to the table with her kitty and her chair grandpa welch made her. She put Kitty in it and insisted that Kitty eat too. It was the sweetest thing. So going along with it her daddy put kitty up in her new highchair he created and we had to seize the moment and take a picture of this presious moment.

Here she is striking a pose with her Kitty, she is quite the proud little mama!!

As you can see not only did Kitty eat well that night so did Caitlin since she was feeding Kitty then herself.

A visit to Spring City

So last weekend we went down to my aunt's little farm in Spring City. It is about a two hour drive. My whole family went. We even took the rhino and went scooting around in that which is one of the best parts about the country living dirt roads and the peace and quiet.

Mothers Day

I had an awesome mothers day weekend I will call it. First I got to go get a manicure, pedicure and wax after work while my wonderful husband stayed home with Caitlin and cleaned the house.

And then on saturday my mom and I went to dinner and a movie with my mother in law Carrie and my sister in law Marnie and her friend Marcie and of course Grandma GG was there too.

Then on sunday my husband let me sleep in and him and Caitlin gave me a gift certificate to get a massage which I absolutely needed. Then we worked on our yard a bit and just relaxed until it was time to go to my parents house for a BBQ. We ate steaks and crab and it was so very yummy.

Like I said it was more like a weekend celebration I am very lucky that I have so many special people in my life to share it with and a wonderful and supportive husband.
