Christmas 2009

Caitlin awoke with a smile on her face and no idea of what she was going to see around the corner!

Surprise!!
Santa had finally come to see her and left her with lots of presents.

At first she didn't know what to think, but quickly warmed up when she saw her doll and a three wheeler

Santa brought her this cute little chair that was so very girly and cute in everyway just like her!

Here she is on her new three wheeler.

Instead of the usual christmas dinner, my family came over to our new house and my dad made us all omelets and we opened up presents. The omelets were a big hit I must say and we had so much fun.
My mom even brought her dog because my niece said that we could not leave her out because it was christmas for them too.
Afterall, santa brought them both stockings and Chico a blue snuggie since he is always cold!!

My sister Angie with my mom's dog Chiquita

Here is my big eared Chico Baby wearing his blue snuggie

There was this game my nephew got which everyone was playing at one point or another, I guess you just plug the scensor in to the top of your Television and you shoot ducks, rabbits, bucks and lots more.

All of the boys liked that game and were entertained for quite some time playing that game.
As you can see my niece Tiana to the right, we were having issues with the boys sharing the game!!

My dad, father-in- law and husband were drinking irish cream in their coffee.
Before long they started to drink spiced rum and before you know it Brandon started to get hot!!
(Can you tell that he is feeling good or what)?

He then got this bright idea in his head to go out and make a snow angel, but of course he did this shirtless and shoeless, aparently all of the liquids he had consumed was making him hot!

I could not believe it, he is crazy I tell you!

The Day after Christmas

We celebrated with Brandon's family. Dinner went very well and after that we exchanged gifts.
Almost everyone was able to attend, but Brandon's brother Jake and his wife Lauren who live in Arizona and his other brother Stephen who had to fix his car since it broke down on him.
So we didn't get to see our nephews open their gifts, other than that I would have to say the night was a hit!
We will have to start having more dinner parties at our house!!!

Here is Caitlin with her grandpa Harris and cousins Alex, Tayler & Destiny
(As you can see Grandpa was annoyed with the whole picture taking process)

Caitie Bug trying on the ladybug tutu that aunt Marnie made her! (So Stinkin Cute)!

Hanging out with her aunt Marnie

Checking out Destiny's new MP3 player and stealing bites off of Taylers plate.

And as you can see the rest is history!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Little girl has grown sooo much

I was going through some pictures to post since it has been awhile. Last year we took these pics and I wasn't blogging then,  so I haven't had the chance to show them off.

As you can see our little girl has grown up sooo very much since then.

This is one of my favorites because the sun is shining down right on her little face
and her eyes are bright as the sun!

Caitlin is our whole world and our life would not be the same without her!

Making Cookies with Grandma

Caitlin had fun making christmas cookies with her cousin Anthony at grandma Teddy's.
She had a blast the whole time!  It was funny to see her cousin Anthony so carefully placing the cookies on the cookie sheet,

While she was practically throwing them onto the cookie sheet!

My Favorite LadyBug

So CaitieBug was alittle LadyBug for halloween!
Here is a pic of her in her costume.

We had a blast trick or treating and after a couple of houses she knew the drill. It was not long after that she was almost running to the next house to get some more candy. It is a shame that she will not be eating most of that candy, since we are mean and do not let her eat candy.
She even held the bucket herself the whole time.
This year was soooo much fun.

Happy Halloween Everyone!

The Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch so that Caitlin could pick out a pumpkin.
There were so many I don't think that she knew which one to pick!!

Daddy pushed her around and I think she had a blast with that alone!

And in the end these are the two that we picked out!!

This was so much fun that I think we will have to make it a halloween tradition.

Spoons and Forks Galore!

Caitlin is now eating by herself with spoons and forks!! We have come along way. My oh my what a couple of weeks has made. She went from sitting in her big girl chair one day to refusing to eat the next. So we decided to just sit back and let her try on her own and now she is almost a pro!

Look how happy she is!! I know I have to learn to let go alittle and let her become the independent little girl that she has been trying to be all along.

Caitlin's a big girl!!

Caitlin is now officially a big girl!  She no longer uses her binkie ( I know it's about time) and she has graduated from her high chair to a booser seat.  Here is a pic of her sitting like a big girl in her booster.
I am very proud of her she was really attached to the binkie and I thought it would be difficult, however I should have given her more credit because I think she was ready to move on from that stage.  She is getting bigger and more cuter everyday. She is getting her top molars now so pretty soon she will have a full mouth of teeth. She is adjusting quite well to her new surroundings, especially playing in the yard.

Welcome Home

So we finally did it!! We moved from our lovely little "penthouse" as my dad called it, but more commonly known as apartment.  Our new home is located in Kearns.  Although it is not brand new it is new to us and that is all that really matters. We have come along way in this journey we call LIFE.
We just celebrated our two year anniversary on tuesday and things couldn't be looking better for us. We had alot of help and it was so much appreciated. After the move we had alittle BBQ and roasted some marshmellows in my father-in-law's fire pit. It was awesome and fun to be in our own little backyard. As you can see it is pretty private and secluded so we feel right at home already.

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!
