It's Potty Time!!

Caitlin has been going potty for the past two weeks on a pretty consistent basis. We are so very proud of her and she is getting so big so fast. Besides the potty, she sets the table, brushes her teeth, and even puts her clothes in the dirties. I did not take any potty pics because I didn't think that was very appropriate. So instead I am showing you just how long her hair has gotten and some other random pics that I thought were cute.

Look how long her hair has gotten. She has never had a hair cute to date. Brandon says it's her baby hair and he doesn't want to cut it anytime soon.

And I am so happy that she is finally able to fit into her Dallas Cowboys shirt.

And my dad all decked out in his utes gear!

And here is my niece with her "Bump it" in her hair. You can tell she is a pre-teen, anyways this pic is so cute and special because she never lets me take pics of her and when I do she makes funny faces.

What's new with us?

What's new with our family, well here are just a couple of activities this summer.

We planted a garden with Potatoes, Green Peppers, Radishes and Strawberries.

Oh, and not to forget the mint leaves.

Since this is the first year that we have had our own yard we are really trying to maintain and make this yard our very own. A little miracle grow dirt and some water go along way!

And last but not least the little green pepper that we have growing.

It's our only one but we are sure proud of it.

What else is new?

Well Caitlin has decided that she absolutely loves my dad's Rhino and has to have a ride around the block everyday. When he get's home from work, she grabs his slippers and says, "Let's Go Papa".

Caitlin also got her 1st bike from Papa Ron this week and here she is riding it!

We've also discovered that Caitlin adores Cantaloupes and watermelon.

We grew rose bushes out front and here is some we picked!

Caitlin and her cousin Anthony have found fun in picking the cherry tomatoes from my mom and dad's garden.

It's been a fun and busy summer for the Harris family!

Picnic @ the Park

Yesterday was a fun day for our family we planned alittle picnic and took Caitlin to the park.
What better place to be then up at Copperton's little park. We packed some lunches and headed down the road. It was cool on he way to the park in someone's yard we saw four deer.

As you can see the day was a blast and Brandon and I decided that every weekend or every other weekend we should be taking her to mingle with other kids since she is an only child.
I hope you all had a nice weekend and for us tomorrow it's back to work!!

Swimming

Caitlin was hesitant to get ino the chilly water, that is at least until her silly dad took her play slide and put it in the pool and then set up the hose to go down the slide. He is a kid at heart that is one of the things that I love most about him. After she saw how much fun dad was having she decided to take a shot at it too. And now there is just no stopping her. Everyday when we wake up or get home from picking her up from grandma's it's I wanna go fimming, since she cannot say swimming quite so well. Here are the pics to prove Brandon really did go down that slide!

Now dad decides to give it a whirl and that's all she wrote from then on.....

There she goes down the slide without a care in the world, what I wouldn't give to be a kid again!

Pioneer Day

For this years Pioneer Day we went to my sister in law Marnie's house and had a BBQ with the whole family.

And at the end of the night the girls eating were eating popsicles in their PJ's while we were getting the fireworks ready to go!

Then Last but certainly not least we had alittle firework show, but the most fun was the sparklers.Here are a few more pics with the sparklers.

This year's Pioneer day was awesome, not just because we had an awesome BBQ dinner but because we spent it with loved ones and Caitlin got to see her cousins and grandma that she does not get to see everyday.
