Pioneer Day

For this years Pioneer Day we went to my sister in law Marnie's house and had a BBQ with the whole family.

And at the end of the night the girls eating were eating popsicles in their PJ's while we were getting the fireworks ready to go!

Then Last but certainly not least we had alittle firework show, but the most fun was the sparklers. Here are a few more pics with the sparklers.

(Dad that is not very safe)!

And aunt Marnie and the girls watching the fireworks with Caitlin

This year's Pioneer day was awesome, not just because we had an awesome BBQ dinner but because we spent it with loved ones and Caitlin got to see her cousins and grandma that she does not get to see everyday.

Thanks Marnie and Shannon for an awesome evening!

The 4th of July

This year we decided to go up to Spring City alittle town outside of Mount Pleasant and Ephraim. My aunt lives there. Each year they have a parade in the morning and at night the rodeo followed by awesome fireworks for such a small little town. Here are some pics of the busy Saturday we had.

Here she is in her parade dress already feeding the horses just before we were ready to go!

Look, Dad they are throwing candy out to me!!

Got Some!!

After the parade was over it was time to head to the fair before the rodeo started.
Dad thought it would be fun for you to get a tattoo, nothing too big of course!

And the after, her Minnie Mouse tattoo..

And here are the mocassins I bought her at an Indian Trade Post, aren't they so stinkin cute!

It was a hot day so you can see we needed the hat &
sunscreen, though she didn't seem to mind them much.

And last but certainly not least was the awesome fireworks which these pictures don't do them justice.

Happy birthday Aunt Jolene

So many of you know we lost my aunt just months ago to cancer. She was only 49. Yesterday was her birthday and since we do not have a spot to take flowers to we thought that we would start our own little tradition on her birthdays. See last year when she was sick we took her this plant that we planted for her and she just loved it, she put it out by her apartment door and said how much she really liked it. So this year we took the old stuff out and re-planted the pot with new flowers and added some angels. I think we will have to do this every year for her birthday in her memory. It was a really nice way for us to be able to show our love for her.
Rest in peace my loving aunt for now you are an angel in the sky...

I hope you are looking down upon us and smiling.
We Love You Always & Forever

Caitlin got her first pool last year from Danny and Trish, but because her birthday is in March she wasn't able to use it, until now that is. Here she is with her cousin Tiana taking alittle dip in the pool.

As you can see by their faces the water was alittle cold.
Thanks Danny and Trish and family she really loves her pool!
